What If You Said YES<\/em>? isn\u2019t just a film to me; it\u2019s a journey that\u2019s changed my life, <\/strong>and maybe\u2014hopefully\u2014it can spark something in you too.<\/strong>
This wasn\u2019t a project I started for recognition or awards. In fact<\/strong>, I didn\u2019t set out to make a documentary at all. It began as a simple act of saying “yes” to stories that needed to be told, to people who inspired me in ways I couldn\u2019t ignore, to places that were calling out for connection and understanding.
Now, somehow, this small “yes”<\/strong> has grown into a project celebrated internationally, winning awards and finding its way across borders and screens. And as I look back, I\u2019m both deeply grateful and honestly surprised at how far it\u2019s come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You see, I\u2019m no guru<\/strong>.<\/gwmw><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m just someone who\u2019s still learning, still figuring it all out.
But if there\u2019s one thing I\u2019ve learned, it\u2019s this: powerful things can happen when you take that first step\u2014even when you don\u2019t have it all planned out.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What If You Said YES? was born out of a simple idea:
What if we open ourselves up to challenges and possibilities that scare us<\/strong>, that seem impossible or uncomfortable?
The film dives into real stories of courage, resilience, and hope, showing how saying “yes” in the face of hardship can lead to profound change.
We filmed across Ghana, Haiti, and the United States, capturing glimpses of people who refused to back down when life got tough.<\/em>
It\u2019s a story that isn\u2019t just theirs\u2014it\u2019s all of ours.
Because in the end, we all face moments when we\u2019re standing at a crossroads, unsure whether to go forward or stay where we are.<\/strong><\/gwmw><\/gwmw><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And while I may be the producer, this isn\u2019t just my story.<\/gwmw><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a story crafted by a team that poured their heart and soul into each scene, each interaction.
Our director, *****Tilo Turian\u2014a 21-year-old filmmaker from Stuttgart\u2014<\/em><\/strong>******* brought a depth and perspective that took this project to places I never imagined. He captured raw, intimate moments that make the film feel less like a story on screen and more like a shared experience.
Watching it unfold<\/em> has taught me a lot about vulnerability, connection, and the importance of having people who believe in a vision even when the path ahead is hazy.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking What If You Said YES?<\/em> on a global tour was both thrilling and humbling.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ghana, the UAE, Germany, the United States\u2014each premiere was a different experience<\/strong>, a chance to share these stories with people who might not have encountered them otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
